Odis Hydrocyclones series 5000 are extremely efficient separators of sand and solid particles from water or liquids, maintaining a small head loss.
Series 5000 Hydrocyclones use a tangential injection flow process, enhancing the centrifugal forces and moving solid particles outwards.
The dispersed particles move downwards in a spiral path into an underflow chamber, while purified liquid moves upwards to the center of the spiral, towards a top mounted outlet.
The separation body is made from plated carbon steel, stainless steel or vulcanized steel.
Products for high-temperature and high-pressure or highly corrosive environments are also available.
Maximum operating pressure: 8 bar.
Minimum operating pressure: 1.5 bar.
The hydrocyclone separator is designed for easy operation and maintenance and does not contain any moving parts.
The underflow chamber may be drained manually or automatically at specified time intervals, without interfering
with the proper functioning of the hydrocyclone.
